Spring Gardening
This is a 7 week, 8 session program for homeschoolers ages 8-12. All sessions are held on Thursdays from 10-12, with the exception of the Plant Sale held on Saturday, May 2.
Students will participate in a variety of hands-on activities to prepare for a successful planting season! Expect to learn about composting, seed starting, water management, and more. Homesteaders will prepare and run a plant sale on Saturday, May 2 that directly benefits Cedar Hill Homestead!

As part of Homestead Homeschool, homesteaders will get the opportunity to participate in daily tasks such as feeding the chickens and maintaining the garden.
You will be provided with resources to continue your homestead learning experience at home.
We do not have an age limit for our students, however this program is geared towards PreK- 6th grade students. ALL learners are welcome regardless of ability level. Because we are a working homestead with hills, streams, and ponds, please take this into consideration when deciding to enroll. Please contact us with any concerns regarding accessibility.
